Over 80 people from across Illinois and the Southern Illinois region gathered at Dayempur Farm for a special herbal medicine workshop held under a soft, overcast sky with a gentle breeze—and just the right touch of rain to keep us cool.

Anita Brown, Our Medical Thermographer, Certified Functional Naturopath and Functional Medicine Practitioner presented her expertise in facial analysis. And shared the herbal correlations with specific health conditions, offering practical insights and suggestions for supporting the body and mind naturally. The talk was informative, empowering, and deeply appreciated by all in attendance.

Participants explored a rich lineup of educational experiences, including:
Health self-assessment and facial analysis
Hands-on demonstrations for making tinctures and infused oils
Guided herb garden tours through Dayempur Farm’s organic growing spaces
And time to browse herbal plants, books, products, and merchandise

A relaxed flow allowed for meaningful conversation, shopping, and even door prizes. We closed the event with a warm, community-style vegetarian potluck lunch, lovingly catered by The Branch Cafe & Market with veggie wraps, organic salad, and gluten-free pecan sandies.

The garden tours showcased the very herbs used in Dayempur Herbals’ handcrafted herbal supplements and body care products, giving attendees a deeper understanding of the connection between plant, product, and purpose.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! We hope you left feeling inspired and better informed about the power of herbal medicine and natural healing. For those who couldn't attend, we welcome you to reach out for more information—we’d love to share with you.
